Teaneck High School
Besides playing linebacker, Michael plays tight end, although he sees himself playing on the defensive side of the ball in college. Always around the ball, Michael had 88 tackles and four sacks last season. He also returned a fumble and interception back for touchdowns. To date, Michael has received offers from North Carolina State, Indiana, Virginia and Syracuse.
We had an opportunity to speak with Michael about how the recruiting process is going for him:
-How many offers do you
I have received offers so far from North Carolina State, Indiana, Virginia and Syracuse.
-Who are your favorites?
My current favorites are: Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, Nebraska, Syracuse and Virginia. If I had to choose a favorite at this point, it would be between Maryland and Rutgers.
-What are the three biggest
factors in your decision to attend a school?
My three biggest factors are the school's math department, playing on a good team and a chance to play early.
-What are your feelings
Rutgers is a very good school and I was impressed with their facilities, particularly the Hale Center.
-What other sports do
I play basketball and baseball although I will play just football in college.
-What camps will you
I am definitely attending camp at Maryland and hope to attend at Rutgers as well.
-What unofficial visits
will you take?
Besides Rutgers, Maryland and Syracuse, I am not sure at this point what other visits I will be making.
-Would you commit early
or will you take all 5 visits before making a decision?
I may commit early. I will have to wait and see how it goes.
