In the mold of Tres Moses, this all-purpose back averaged over eight-yards per carry, 1400 yards and 20 touchdowns. Jahre Cheeseman is pure speed and elusiveness. One of a number of South Jersey athletes that are considering Rutgers, Jahre has received 10 offers to date, including Rutgers. Playing at the same high school as Phil Trautwein, the highly recruited offensive lineman headed to Florida, Jahre sees himself as an all-purpose back and return man at the collegiate level.

How many offers do you have?
"I have offers from Rutgers, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, Syracuse, Maryland, Michigan State, Connecticut, Duke and Louisville."

Who are your favorites?
"My 3 favorites are Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Virginia."

What factors make these your 3 favorite schools?
Virginia Tech - "Winning football history."
Rutgers - "They have good academics and great facilities. I was really impressed with the Hale Center."
Virginia - "It is a great school for academics and a great football program."

What are the three biggest factors in your decision to attend a school?
-"A good football program and the opportunity to play."
-"The campus and facilities."

What are your feelings on Rutgers?
"They are a good academic school with great coaches and top notch facilities."

Who will assist you in making your decision?
"My parents and high school coach."

Would you commit early or will you take all 5 visits before making a decision?
"I will probably take all 5 visits, although I may commit early."
