Cameron Lewis - Stars continue to come out at ABCD

The stars continue to come out and shine at ABCD. In this story we profile a rising star whose name is becoming increasingly well-known along the east coast: Cameron Lewis. Cameron had been receiving attention from mid-majors, but the latest news has several high-majors getting involved in the recruitment of this long and athletic forward.

Cameron Lewis, an athletic 6-foot-8, 215-pound power forward from St. Alban's School in Washington, D.C. who will do a post-grad year at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire in the Fall, is currently competing at the Reebok ABCD camp in Teaneck, New Jersey.
The academic-minded prospect is already fully qualified and has already taken an unofficial visit to St. John's. "I enjoyed meeting the coaching staff," Lewis said. "I had a good trip. The campus was nice and the people were very nice there. I am very interested in them."
St. John's isn't the only school chasing Lewis. "Boston College, Georgia, Rutgers, Miami, Rice, Vanderbilt, Stanford, Clemson, St. Bonaventure, and Fordham are on my list," he said. "Fordham and St. Bonaventure have offered me."
Staffs from most of the schools above were spotted in the stands watching Lewis play with a team called the Nets at the Reebok camp. "I hope to make a Fall decision," he said. "I am also interested in the Ivy League schools too. Education is important to me too."
