Willy Waiting for Decisions

Coming on as a strong candidate late in the camping season, Drew Willy, quarterback from Randolph (N.J.), is now waiting on colleges to make their decision and hope that one will offer.

"I've been to eight camps," says the 6-foot-4, 205 pounder. "I'm on vacation this week, but when I get back, I am supposed to call all the coaches and just hoping to receive some offers from the schools

"They are going through their depth chart. They said my stock rose so much because on film that you can't see as much on offense because we are so much of a running offense so it is hard to tell. But now that they see other things, they said I've moved up every single place I've been."

Once a team offers, could Willy make an early commitment?

"It's possible, but I'm not sure yet. I would have to weight out my options and just get every detail because you want to make the right choice."

He has visited many universities, and should know quite a bit. He attended camps at Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers, UConn, Syracuse, and Michigan State. However, he is looking for relationships to make a key role in the decision.

"Just a good relationship with the coaching staff, and I want to go to a pretty prestigious program that has been known for its football."
