Corey said that Rutgers recruits Jaron Griffin and Anthony Farmer still are trying to convince Bynum to join them in Gary Waters program. "They don't call every week," Corey said. "But when they speak they do give a pitch to convince Andrew to play with them. They are telling him they can win a Big East championship and a National Championship if he comes."
Both Griffin and Farmer played with Bynum during the July evaluation period. Their team, the New Jersey All Stars, won the Showcase at the Wide World of Sports complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The three appeared to enjoy themselves during that four-day event.
Corey stated that his brother will take visits to Georgia on October 1st. While they are there, the Bynum family will watch Georgia play LSU in an SEC football game. And after that visit, Corey said that Andrew and the family will visit North Carolina for Midnight Madness on October 15th.
Georgia Tech and Georgetown are also being considered. It's likely most of these schools will take in home visits, starting September 9th.
