Hackensack H.S in Hackensack, New Jersey is known for producing Division IA players and championship football teams fueled by run oriented offenses. They are still producing Division IA prospects but they are employing more of a passing attack. When a team can let a player like Danny Oquendo (WR/DB, 6'2"-185lbs, 4.45 forty) run loose on a defense, big numbers will be produced. Against Nutley H.S., he improved his performance with 154 yards on 10 catches. On defense, he had 8 tackles, 1 pass deflection, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble. Hackensack defeated Nutley by a score of 36-13. His next game will be against one of the best teams in New Jersey, St. Joseph-Montvale.

Previously, he stated that Rutgers and Maryland were his co-leaders. Currently, he states that all four schools are equal. Since he has narrowed his list down to four schools, he has started to schedule visits. On December 10th, he will be visiting Maryland. On December 17th, he will be visiting Rutgers. During the season, he will be visiting Virginia Tech and Boston College.
Although he states that he will take all of his visits, he stated that he might commit before completing them. Currently, he has no time period on his decision. His biggest factor in his decision making process is his relationship with the coaches at the specific school. He would like to play for a coach with job security and is very knowledgeable. Where ever he decides to play, he will provide some job security for his coach.
