Update on Coral Reef Standout

Rutgers fans were disappointed, but not surprised when they learned that the Scarlet Knights were no longer a sure-fire player for Coral Reef (FL) standout Dorian Munroe. The Scarlet Knights are still in the thick of it with at least one of Munroe's teammates, as are fellow Big East schools Pittsburgh and West Virginia.

Coral Reef (FL) high school is suffering through a difficult season at (1-4) Linebacker Eric Houston (6-2, 220, 4.61) has been one of the bright spots for the Barracudas.

“I’ve been in the top 5 all year in tackles in Dade County, our team is struggling we have no offense, our defense is playing well. We lose games by scores of 6-0,” said Houston

Houston has garnered 15 offers thus far, he is now sorting through them to try and schedule his official visits.

“The only visit I have scheduled right now is Kansas State, I’ll be going there in early December I can’t remember the date right now.”

Several schools besides Kansas State are in contention for Houston’s services including Auburn, Clemson, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and West Virginia.

“I guess you could say I’m looking at all of them right now.”

You have mentioned Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and West Virginia in the past, are they still in the hunt?

“Yes, I’m still interested in those schools. Pitt and Rutgers have a lot of South Florida guys on their squads.”

Which schools have called the most, and have been the most persistent?

"Kansas State, Florida, USF, and UCF all call every week."
