Chris Quaye Almost Back to 100%

Recently recovered from a stress fracture of the ankle, Timber Creek High School's Chris Quay (6'1"– 230, 4.5 forty) is working hard to turn around the fortunes of the 2-5 Chargers. Chris, who returned to the field in early October, feels he is just about back at full strength.

Partly due to his injury, the recruiting process has slowed down somewhat for Chris Quaye who during the summer was considering Penn State, Maryland, Marshall, Louisville, Temple and Rutgers. Chris attended the Michigan State game and returned to Rutgers last week for the West Virginia game. When asked his feelings on Rutgers, Chris was direct and to the point. "I just know they are going in the right direction. They always play hard and keep coming after you. I like that."

Chris who is being recruited by Coach Galiano has been told that Rutgers is looking at him at both running back and linebacker. "I definitely would prefer to play linebacker, although some of the coaches at Rutgers want me to play running back."

Although Chris did not rule out late developments, he has narrowed down his schools to Rutgers and Marshall. He will make official visits to Marshall on the weekend of December 4th and Rutgers the weekend of December 11th. "I plan on making my decision between the Rutgers visit and the end of the year. Here is hoping Greg Schiano finds Chris Quaye under his Christmas tree.
