Rutgers University has made it a point to scour the Sunshine State in it's never ending search for talent. Greg Schiano and staff have just made a play on a very athletic linebacker from Florida, and he is interested.
Boynton Beach (Fla.) linebacker Baxter Grisby (6-1, 220, 4.5) now has
three scholarship offers. The three schools that have offered include
Bowling Green, Rutgers, and Pittsburgh.
"Rutgers offered me last Friday", said Grisby
Special Teams Coordinator/Running backs coach Darren Rizzi has been the
primary recruiter for Grisby.
"They have a lot of Florida kids on that team", said Grisby. "I'm
definitely interested in them."
Grisby was so interested as soon as he was offered he scheduled an official visit with the Scarlet Knights.
"I'm taking my official to Rutgers on (1/21)."
Minnesota, West Virginia, and Miami are others who may potentially offer
the athletic linebacker.
"Miami has been showing a good bit of interest lately."
Favorites are Minnesota, West Virginia, Bowling Green, Rutgers, and
