Every football team looks for players who are versatile with the ability to score in numerous ways or play a number of positions. One of the players who is making his name known is Kyle Wilson (KR/WR/RB/DB, 5'10"-190lbs, 4.45 forty, 10.8 100-meters). The speedster out of Piscataway High School can play kick returner, wide receiver, running back, and defensive back. His versatilily even has him undecided on which position to play in college. His indecision has not stopped programs such as Boise State, West Virginia, Rutgers, and North Carolina State from taking notice.
On the weekend of December 10th, Wilson visited the campus of Rutgers University and found out things about the school that he did not know. Although Wilson lives about 10 minutes from the Rutgers campus and has been to the school numerous times, he found out a lot about the academics, student life, and life as a student-athlete that he did not know before the visit.
His former teammate Devraun Thompson was his host. During the visit, he hung out with many of the skilled position players such as Marcus Daniels, Willie Foster, and Tres Moses. He paid a lot of attention to their interaction and the campus life.
Wilson and the other Rutgers recruits attended the Rutgers basketball game. Like many of the other recruits, he was impressed by the signs and the chants by the students for the recruits along with the crowd at the RAC. All in all, he left the Rutgers campus impressed and rated the visit a 7 out of 10.
Although he was impressed by the Rutgers visit, a decision might not come soon. Wilson intends on taking visits to Boise State (December 17th) along with visits to West Virginia and North Carolina in January. Therefore, a decision might not be made until just before National Signing Day.
