When Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers Academy Head Coach Joe Casamento calls someone the best player on his team common perception would lead you to expect that he was referring to Greg Paulus or LaVar Lobdell. If you assumed that, then you would be wrong. Wide receiver Bruce Williams (5-11, 190, 4.60) is the go-to guy at CBA.

CBA finished the season with a (13-0) record and a (N.Y.) Class AA state championship. Williams capped off a stellar career by catching 103 passes for 1,546 yards and 28 touchdowns. If that's not enough he also plays defense he registered 58 tackles and 8 interceptions.

After having such a standout senior campaign Williams has seen his stock rise dramatically.

Rutgers, Penn State, and West Virginia have all offered over the last two weeks," Williams said. "Penn State came into the school and offered me and LaVar."

Williams is trying to fit an official visit to Penn State into his schedule. He visited West Virginia (12/10), and he has upcoming trips planned to NC State (1/8) and Rutgers (1/21).

Don't expect a decision in the near future, Williams plans on taking his time.

"I'll probably announce on signing day," Williams said.
