Inman's Perfect Season

Gerald "J.R." Inman's St. Joseph Regional Green Knights squad have defeated every foe placed before them this season. Sitting at 15-0 in conference play, St. Joseph Regional has won all 21 games on its slate this season, including victories against Ramapo (last Sunday) and at Bergen Catholic (played on St. Valentine's Day).

The star-studded Green Knights roster features three future Scarlet Knights: The McCourty brothers, Devin and Jason, and future Rutgers 6'8" wing-man JR Inman.

Inman has scored a season total of 426 points thus far (not including last night's game), good enough for 20.3 ppg. Inman has gone over the 20-point threshold a total of 11 times this year, including a 28 point outburst in the Green Knights 64-60 victory at Bergen Catholic earlier this week.

In the Bergen County Jamboree semifinals last night, Inman's squad was paired against Englewood at Fairleigh Dickinson's Rothman Center.

The Green Knights scored the game's first 19 points and coasted to a 74-36 victory. Inman added 27 points, eight rebounds, four steals to go along with four blocks, and upped his seasonal scoring average to 20.6 ppg.

St. Joseph, now standing at 22-0 overall, returns to action this Thursday in the Jamboree final. The Green Knights, set to play Paramus Catholic, are looking for its first Jamboree championship in 23 years.

In their only meeting of the season the Green Knights defeated Paramus Catholic by 35 as Inman poured in 25 points.
