South Florida speedster looking for offers….

At a recent Nike Combine at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, South Miami High School defensive back Pat Robinson made an impact on those running the camp. He lined up to run his forty and went on to a sizzling sub 4.3 forty time. He also performed well in the vertical jump. After his impressive performance Robinson was invited back to the Nike Camp in April. He measured in at 5-foot-11 and weighs close to 170 pounds.

Last week Scout.com had the chance to sit down with Patrick Robinson at his high school and talk about the upcoming season. He mentioned to us what his team's goals are, his individual goals and about the recruiting process.

"This year my main goal is for our team to make a run at the State Championships which will be held in our back yard," Robinson said. The State Championships this year are being held in Miami Dolphins' Stadium in Miramar, Florida.

Robinson talked about his individual goals, "I want to lead Dade County in interceptions and be placed on the 1st team in Dade County. As for the recruiting process I will wait and see what place is best for me before deciding on where to play for the next four years after high school."

We also had the chance to ask Robinson about his favorite schools, "FSU, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Florida, Tennessee and Iowa are the schools I like most at this time. I met a coach from Rutgers last year and have a family member at Florida State so those two probably lead over the others right now."

So what does Robinson feel he needs to work on? "I need to improve my foot quickness and get even better at reacting to the football. If I can force teams to constantly throw away from me I feel I have done my job."

Camps to attend: Nike Camp, Rutgers camp in Miami.
