NJ DT develops his favorites list

True defensive tackles and cornerbacks are as hard to find as a true point guard in basketball. Therefore, they are normally highly coverted players. Oren Wilson (DT, 6'2"-275lbs) is one of New Jersey's best defensive tackles and is attracting a lot of attention. He was among the players invited to attend the U.S Army All-American combine. At the combine, Wilson was timed at a 4.9 forty and impressed a number of college recruiters.

Currently, Wilson has offers from Rutgers, Minnesota, and Kansas with a lot of interest from North Carolina, Cincinnati, Indiana, Syracuse, Virginia, and Purdue. He feels that Purdue will be the next school to offer.

Wilson feels the following about his favorites:

Minnesota
- Good school
- Every year the programs gets better.
- Among the schools that are recruiting him, he has developed the best relationship with them

Rutgers
- Likes the campus and the facilities
- Likes the coaching staff
- Would not mind attending the school.

Kansas
- He does not know much about the school but is looking to find out more during the recruiting process.

Although Wilson is still in the initial phases of the recruiting process, he does have a leader amongst the many programs that are recruiting him. Due to the relationship that he has developed with Minnesota's staff and his familiarity with the school, they have amerged as his leader. However, Wilson is not ready to make any decisions before taking all 5 of his visits. That decision will be made by him independently.

Note: On the football field last season, Wilson had 70 tackles and 10 sacks. He also plays power forward for the Teaneck basketball team.
