It's tough to keep in-state recruits from going to bigger programs outside the state, but Graves is considering the Scarlet Knights. Even though distance will not play a factor in his decision, Graves does like the home atmosphere he has become accustomed to.
"I will watch Rutgers closely this year," said Graves. "I want to see how strong of a year they have. I have visited Rutgers before. I know a lot of people on the team. It's close to home. My family would be able to come see me play. I like the city's environment. I have been in New Jersey for a while. I have gotten used to everything."
"I have a good relationship with my recruiting coach, Coach (Joe) Susan. He is cool. I get a lot of mail from him every week," Graves added.
The three star receiver will consider several things heading into his college decision, and his decision is on the horizon.
"I will look for a good environment. I want to go somewhere I will feel like I am at home. I want to be surrounded by good people. Education will play an important factor. When I graduate college, I want to be able to get a good job. I also want to go somewhere I will have a chance to compete for a championship. I plan to make my decision probably within the next month," said Graves.
