Chris Daino is an athletic offensive lineman from Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pa. Daino is holding two scholarship offers, but he sees more schools coming into the mix in the near future.

"I have offers from Rutgers and Akron. I am hoping to get some more offers soon. I think Michigan State and Virginia are both close to offering me," said Chris Daino.

"My favorites right now are Virginia, Michigan State, and Syracuse."

The 6-4, 270-pound lineman is expecting a strong year for the Scarlet Knights and is impressed with the program.

"Rutgers is a program that is on the rise," said Daino. "I think they are going to have a good team this year. Greg Schiano is my recruiting coach. He is a very nice guy. We keep in touch often."

The two-star lineman has not decided when he will make a decision, but he does know of three important aspects he will consider when choosing his college destination.

"I don't really have a time-frame as to when I will make my decision. The important things to me will be a good education, a good football program and a place that is not too far away from home," Daino said.

When asked the position being recruited to play on the next level, Daino replied, "I am being recruited by all the schools as an offensive lineman. I have heard I will either play guard or center."

The first game of the season kicks off this week [this past week], and Daino is excited about the entire season.

"Our first game is this week against St.Joseph's," he said. "I think our team is going to be really good this year. We will still have a lot of work to do each week. Our goal is to win the state championship."
