Hogan, the latest RU Offer

Chris Hogan, a wide receiver from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, (N.J.) has been offered a football scholarship by Rutgers.

Chris Hogan (6-2, 180) is a stand-out in two sports and lacrosse is where he thinks he has his best opportunity, but college football has a bigger drawing of fans.

"It would be cool to run out in front of thousands of fans. I would like to get a chance at Division-1 football," he said.

Hogan holds scholarship offers in lacrosse from Maryland, Syracuse and Penn State.

Rutgers coach Greg Schiano extended a scholarship offer at the end of September to play football and Temple likes his gridiron skills as well and extended a football scholarship offer.

Penn State, Syracuse and Maryland are top programs in lacrosse and they definitely have Hogan's attention.

If he continues with a successful football season, he might have a bigger field of schools to choose from. For his junior campaign, he recorded 47 receptions for 815 yards and 12 touchdowns and in September of his senior year he has recorded 14 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns.
