Kenneth Robinson

Kenneth Robinson, 5-10, 170, WR, 4.5, Northwestern Miami Senior H.S., Miami, Fla.

Kenneth Robinson, who already has offers from Northwestern and Florida, likes the Scarlet Knights. No, it isn't just that Mario Cristobal has been selling Rutgers to Ken, Ken has another source of inside information in former team mate Dondre Asberry who apparently really likes his decision to attend Rutgers.

That could be great news for Scarlet fans. Ken Robinson is a talented WR with speed and size who is noted for running precision routes and then locking the ball in with his great hands. Last year Robinson had 40 receptions for 585 yards and three touchdowns. One of his most impressive performances was against Miami recruit (and then high school All American) Brandon Meriweather. In that game the talented Meriweather "held" Robinson to 4 catches and 71 yards!!!

So far in addition to the offers from Northwestern and Florida, Ken has received major attention from Minnesota, Rutgers and Troy State. Early on he would call his favorites as  Florida, Rutgers and Miami.

Ken will be attending the Miami camp later this year and might make a stop up to the Rutgers camp as well. Robinson is looking for a school with good academics, good athletics and a good tradition. A good environment is a positive also and Dondre Asberry has already told Robinson that that is what he'll find at RU.

Stay tuned throughout the season as we follow up on the recruiting story of one of Florida's top wide receivers.
