FL DE discusses his visit with the Knights

Marus Broxie loves to rush the passer, an ability that Rutgers along with a number of other schools covet. Broxie talks abut his visit with the Knights and his possible remaining visits.

For Marus Broxie, his strength is rushing the quarterback. This is a skill that has attracted a number of programs to compete for his services. As Broxie stated, "when it is 3rd down and 10 or more, that is when I really shine". During this past season, Broxie registered 12 sacks and approximately 70 tackles. These efforts helped him earn first team all-conference and a selection to play in the Hillsborough County All-Star Game.

To date, Broxie has taken visits to Rutgers and Bowling Green. Over the Christmas break, he stated that he will select from West Virginia, Michigan, Mississipi, UNLV, Indiana, and FAU for his remaining visits. During all of his visits, his parents will accompany him. One of his best friends, Tertavian Ingram, and him will visit West Virginia together on a date to be determined. Since they are such good friends, there is a good chance that they will both attend the same school.

During the weekend of December 9th, he visited the campus of Rutgers University. Before his visit, his high school coaches spoke well about the Rutgers program. According to Broxie, they were right. Although it was cold, the visit was good. He felt that the facilities were excellent especially the weight room, which he stated was the best he has ever seen. The academic support center was state of the art. He rated the visit a "8.5" out of 10. He stated that "it is hard to get a perfect 10. That would be a magical place and there is no place that is magical. Right now, a school will need to beat the Rutgers visit. But they are all great schools."

Currently, he has no leader. Towards the end of January, he will develop a leader. For now, everyone is dead even.
