Basketball Recruiting - Rutgers adds two big men

Gabe Hughes 6-10

If it's minutes Gabe Hughes wants, he should get plenty of them with his new team. A 6-foot-10 sophomore center, Hughes said last night that he will transfer to Rutgers from the University of California, where he was unhappy with playing time. Hughes said he made a nonbinding commitment on Monday to Rutgers coach Gary Waters, but he will not sign a National Letter of Intent today, the final day of the late signing period.
