Emanuel Cook names a leader

Emanuel Cook has completed two of his five visits but has named a leader.

Big-time players have big performances in big games. For Emanuel Cook, he rushed for 243 yards and 4 TDs against Deerfield Beach to win the Florida AAAAAA State Championship. Now that he has a high school championship, he has changed his focus to recruiting. This three-star prospect has taken visits to Ole Miss and Rutgers. He also has offers from South Carolina, Minnesota, and North Carolina State. In mid-January, he has visits scheduled with South Carolina and North Carolina State.

Although he has only taken two visits, he has named Rutgers as his leader. Cook cites the sparkly different environment along with his fondness for the "city life" for the Scarlet Knights lead. The large group of Florida players on the Rutgers squad also works in the Scarlet Knights favor. These Floridians made Cook feel at home during his visit.

The Scarlet Knights are recruiting Cook for the middle LB position. This position will be vacated with the graduation of Devraun Thompson leaving Cook alone to start at the position.

The Scarlet Knights along with his other suitors will have to wait until signing day for a final decision. Scout.com will be there to provide you with his decision along with all of the other decisions made across the country.
