One of the hardest positions to fill on any football team is defensive tackle. If you search New Jersey, the Northeast or the whole nation, it will be very hard to find a real impact defensive tackle.

At 6'5"-320lbs, Nathaniel Robinson is one of the nation's best defensive tackles. He lists his favorites, in order, as Miami, Rutgers, and Michigan State. Currently, he has over 28 scholarship offers and counting. To name a few, he has scholarship offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Maryland, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, and Washington.

What is he looking for in a school? Nathaniel has a burning desire to play in the NFL. Therefore, preparation for the NFL is a big decision point for him. However, he is still focused on the academic reputation of the school and the graduation rate of the athletes. Another factor is the afro-American population and ratio at the school.

Nathaniel would like to major in Business Administration or Small Business Management. After his playing career is over, he would like to open a number of sporting goods and clothing stores.

What does he like about his top three schools?

Miami – the number of players that they have placed in the NFL, the coaching staff, and the tradition.

Rutgers – he likes the coaching staff, the opportunity to build a new tradition, and being close to home. He has a great familiarity with the school since his sister is a graduate.

MSU – his parents liked the information that was provided to them by the coaching staff. Since he plays defense, he likes the fact that they had the #3 defense in the nation last season.

Currently, Nathaniel has no plans to attend any football camps and views them as "over rated".

Nathaniel knows that it will be a very hard decision. Therefore, he has no plans to commit early. He will take all five of his visits, enjoy each one, reflect on each, and make a decision.

We will check back on Mr. Robinson in late June.
