Former Robeson High School guard, Gary Ervin, led Riverside Church to the Rumble in the Bronx Championship. The mercurial point guard garned All Tournament honors. He continually involved his teammates as he cut into the paint and fed to open cuttters. Ervin also shot the lights out hitting three consecutive treys to finish off Florida's Team Breakdown. During the tournament Gary's buddy, Quincy Douby, showed why he is known as an automatic three. Teaneck's Willie Irick has developed as a legitimate inside threat but will need a solid fifteen footer to compete at the Big Time level. The Church was also loaded in the under 16 Division with Jerseyans Derrick Character and Tyrell Biggs owning the paint. Character who is being touted as the number one frosh in the USA will allegedly shun all offers and play for the Scotch Plains - Fanwood Raiders. Character is presently listed at 6'9", 255 pounds and growing. He can play inside or out. firstname.lastname@example.org
