But all the attention hasn't phased Elliott one bit.
"Recruiting is going pretty well," stated Elliott in a recent interview with SOR.com.
"I am surprised about this whole situation because you never really expect things to get to where they are right now. It is still something that I am getting used to and I'm beginning to realize that I have a responsibility to make a very educated and important decision."
With the scholarship offers continuing to pile on Elliott knows that the narrowing down process will have to occur - at some point.
"I'm going to get into the process of narrowing things down. I'm just not sure I can say exactly when that will be now."
One of the schools recruiting Elliott is a university that is closest to his home: Rutgers.
"I have been to Rutgers twice," said Elliott.
"I've gotten to meet all the coaches. I've gotten to spend a lot of time with Coach Flood and spent some time with Coach Schiano. I have a pretty good relationship with Coach Flood - I've spoken with him a number of times. He's probably one of the coaches that I get along with best."
What is Elliott looking for in a school?
"I want a place where I could fit in with the coaches and the players. Academics and football have to be there as well. The two are an important combination for me."
Is distance a contributing factor for Elliott?
"I would like to be closer to home."
Elliott, who will not be making any Combine visits this spring, states that his Head Coach and parents will be instrumental in his eventual decision-making process.
"Basically, my head coach and my parents will be helping me but both have told me that my decision is my own to make."
