Rutgers will need to only travel 5 minutes away from campus to recruit two of the best players in the nation - Tony Logan and Anthony Davis. Scout had the opportunity to speak to Tony Logan about his recruitment and the Scarlet Knights..

During the last week, Logan added Kansas State, Mississippi State, Virginia, Boston College and UCLA to his already impressive list of offers bringing his total to 15. This number will definitely increase after the May evaluation period and combines season.. Therefore, Logan will likely have over 30 offers by June.

Although it is early, Logan has developed a list of favorites. He lists (in order) Miami, Rutgers, USC, Notre Dame, Maryland, Florida State, and Virginia as his favorites. There are two criteria that he is looking for "a school that respects me as a player and will give me the opportunity to play the game".

If he was going to select a school today, he stated that "I would probably select Rutgers because I know them the best and I don't talk to many of the other schools but I am sure that will change once I go on my visits and go to see other places" The visit to other schools will begin soon. Some of the schools where he will visit is USC, Maryland, and Notre Dame.

As far as when Logan will make a final decision, his preference would be to make his decision known during the U.S All-American Game in Texas. Like many of the participants that make their decision known at the game, he would like to select the hat of his chosen school. If Logan is selected for the game, he feels that he will be selected as an athlete or WR. These are the positions that Logan states 'I think that's where I can make the money". Logan will make another step towards playing in the U.S Army All-American game on Sunday, April 23rd as he will participate in the Scout All-American Combine at Rutgers University. As always, Scout will provide you with the results of the combine along with interviews and other features from the event.
