Gunslinger Daley has favorites

Andrew Daley of Eastern Regional HS (NJ) is a strong armed Quarterback who hasn't received any offers yet, but is receiving a lot of interest. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds Daley completed 105 of 210 passing for 1300 yards and seven touchdowns as a Junior. Daley also scored 11 touchdowns on the ground earning him All-Conference honors.

"Right now, I'm hearing from Rutgers, Penn State, UConn, South Florida and NC State," Andrew Daley said in a recent interview with "My favorites list is Uconn, Syracuse, South Florida, Temple and Rutgers."

Asked what he considers to be the three major factors in his future recruiting decision, Daley had this to say: "Graduation rate is very important to me. I won't be playing football forever. Then I would say staying close to home and atmosphere. I want to have my family see me play."

Different strokes for different folks - some prospects prefer to take their time with the recruiting process and won't even consider beginning to narrow things down until, at the earliest, the start of their senior season. Daley, however, has a different take on things.

"If offered I would make an early decision if the school is right for me."

Asked about Rutgers Daley said, "I like the way Rutgers treats me whenever I come by, I like the school a lot."

Daley has gone to the Combine at Rutgers, the Elite Combine and plans on going to the Nike Camp.
