Football Recruiting -  Mike Meggett

"My cousin Mike Meggett has moved in with us to end his high school career and will be playing the Ocean Township Spartans in 2002," Ocean Township defensive back Charles Timbers told Student Sports earlier today. The two should form quite a pair of defensive backs in the Spartans' 4-4-3 defense. Timbers, a 5-foot-10, 170 pound senior cornerback, has already verbally committed to Rutgers over offers from West Virginia and Temple. Meggett, a 6-foot-1, 205 pound safety, is one of the top prospects at his position in the East and is generally regarded as one of the top 25 safety prospects nationally.
