This year New Jersey has a number of talented players in the state. One of the top players in the state is Sam Johnson of Bergen Catholic High School. As one of the top players in the state, he has caught the attention of numerous schools. Johnson has offers from Pitt, WVU, Purdue, Temple, Duke, BC, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Maryland.
Johnson lists his top 2 schools as Rutgers and Syracuse. These two schools are recruiting him the hardest.
What does he like about the two schools?
Rutgers - he likes the coaching staff and the closeness to his home (45 minutes).
Syracuse - he likes the coaching staff and has family in the area
He plans on majoring in Marine Biology and is looking for a school that has the major.
He would like to make a decision before the start of the football season but will only do so if he were comfortable and sure of his decision. Currently, he is really torn between Rutgers and Syracuse.
We will check back with him in a month to see where he is with his decision making process.Donald "Big Dog" Forbes: BigDog@Rutgersfootball.com
