In a couple of weeks, Iachetta heads to Rutgers to begin the next phase of his career and education. Rutgers plans to use Iachetta at defensive end. But that depends on whether he reaches his target weight -- 240 to 260 pounds. Right now he's weighing in at 220, so there will be a lot of lifting.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers 2001-2002 women's basketball recruiting class has been ranked 13th in the nation by the All Star Girls Report, the group has announced.

DAPHNE, AL – The United States Sports Academy will give out its first annual C. Vivian Stringer Medallion Award of Sport for Women's Coaching as part of commencement weekend activities July 26 in Daphne, AL. The award, named after the Rutgers women's basketball coach, will be unveiled at 11:45 a.m. at the Academy atrium. It serves as the counter award to the group's Amos Alonzo Stagg Award, which this year is being given to Penn State's Joe Paterno. The award consists of a medallion in her likeness, struck by one of America's leading sculptors, Blair Buswell.
