After jumping all over the home team, Venezuela, early, the USA Junior World Team folded in the fourth quarter of the COPABA semi-finals to a furious comeback by the South Americans. The final score of 67-65 just indicates a close game, but this was a heart breaker for the young American team. Up by 15 entering the fourth quarter, they were out scored by the home squad 26-9 to end a USA 24 game win streak. A lack of respect for each possession and the ball along with some hot shooting by the Venezueleans cost Team USA this game. Pandemonium was the theme of the night as the USA(3-1) heads to a consolation rematch with Argentina(2-2) today.
