Anthony Davis is qute easily one of the most recognizable names among high school football fans, not only in the Garden State, but in the nation. For quite some time, the New Jersey prospect has been quoted as favoring the Miami Hurricanes. Is Miami still the school to beat for this dominating OL's services?

"No, they are not in there anymore, not right now," stated Davis. While the recruiting process is a very fluid and dynamic one, sometimes changing on a game-by-game basis, it seems that for the moment Davis has a new leader.

"Right now it's USC and then Ohio State," stated Davis. Rounding out his Top 5, in no particular order are a trio of schools that includes Florida, Florida State, and Rutgers.

Davis recently took a trip to Rutgers Stadium and witnessed the continued progress of his state school while the Scarlet Knights did battle against the University of Ohio Bobcats. What were Davis' impressions of the team and where does Rutgers stand today?

"They're definitely moving up. They're not at the top but they are moving up. [The trip] It was good. I just went down there to watch the game but I didn't really have any expectations," stated Davis.

With a number of schools currently recruiting Davis scattered about the entire country, it seems that one point of consideration when deciding on his future school will not be distance from home. Instead, "The coaching staff, the atmosphere, and academics, those are three things that I'll be looking at closely."
