Top prospects take in an afternoon at Rutgers

This Saturday, Rutgers Stadium was the venue to witness RU's 4th straight victory of the 2006 season. Moreover, it was an opportunity to see the Scarlet Knight's first 4-0 start in more than two decades. Some of the top prospects in the Garden State - and in the nation - were on hand to witness the continued resurgence of the Rutgers program. SOR was on the sidelines and has the latest ...

Alex Silvestro sporting some RU gear made another trip to Rutgers to see the Scarlet Knights battle Howard.

Silvestro's teammate, Demetrius Hester (6-foot and 285-pounds) is a literal carbon copy of current Scarlet Knight Ramel Meekins.  Hester is also a heavyweight wrestler that finished 2005 with a 34-3 overall record.

Mark Spinney (Bishop Guertin HS, NH) is one of the top overall prospects in New England. Spinney made the 4-hour trip to New Jersey with his family to take in an afternoon of football.

Demetrius Richardson (6-foot-3 and 190-pounds), a QB by way of Cherokee HS, is one of the top overall prospects in the Garden State for next year (Class of 2007, Richardson is only a Jr this year) - fans should make sure they remember this name.

Rutgers commitment Keith Newell, stands next to Alex Silvestro and teammate Demetrius Hester.

For the second consecutive week, the top OL in the nation made a trip to his home-state school to take in an afternoon of college football.  Fans should stay tuned for a video interview with Anthony Davis later this upcoming week.
