Big East or SEC for Nicholls

Dontee Nicholls is one of the top DL prospects in South Florida. As his senior season is winding down, Nicholls has now begun to focus more on the recruiting process. It seems that it will be either a Big East program or one from the SEC, that will end up landing his services.

Donte'e Nicholls, the big-man from Pompano-Ely HS in Florida is in the process of setting up his visits. And his size and athleticism have resulted in him being coveted by some top-programs nationally.

Luckily for two Big East schools, Nicholls has set-up visits: one to Rutgers on December 10th, and the other to West Virginia the following week. Another Big East team, Louisville, has been recruiting Nicholls intensely.

From the SEC, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina have all offered and remain in hot pursuit of this difference maker. All have kept in regular contact with Nicholls and covet getting him on campus for an official visit.

As of now, Nicholls is completely open to the process. He wants to take all five visits and go into each visit with an open mind. His coach has advised him to take his time to make the right decision.

He has also gotten a chance to watch some of his favorites play football on TV this season. "Coach Schiano called me last Saturday to make sure I watch the Rutgers-UConn game on Sunday. I watched a good part of it. Their defense was impressive. They have speed and attacked them". This week, he'll watch two of his favorites in Big-East powers Louisville and WVU fight it out. He will also take in the Rutgers-Louisville game the following week.

"I don't know who will win this week between Louisville and West Virginia. That should be a slug-fest. But the following week, I think Rutgers is going to take it to Louisville. They play that attacking defense where they just go get-em".
