Rutgers-Cincinnati Scheduled for National TV

The BIG EAST Conference and ESPN announced the Rutgers-Cincinnati football game on Nov. 18 will be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. Kickoff is scheduled for either 7:45 p.m. or 7:00 p.m., depending on which network will broadcast the game.

The official start time and network assignment will be announced Saturday, Nov. 11.

The game will mark Rutgers' eighth national television appearance of the season with another national television game remaining at West Virginia on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Syracuse game on Saturday, Nov. 25 could also be added to national television or as the BIG EAST Game of the Week in the coming weeks.

The total of nine national television appearances in 2006 is a school record for the Scarlet Knights. The only two games this season that were not televised nationally – Howard and Ohio – were regional broadcasts on MSG and were also available via pay-per-view on ESPN GamePlan, allowing Rutgers fans across the nation to view every game so far this season.
