Nicholls ready for first visit this weekend.

Now that the football season is over for Blanche-Ely star Dontee Nicholls, his focus has switched over to recruiting. The athletic tackle has thus far set-up two trips; He will take his first visit this weekend and the next one is set-up for the following week.

Dontee Nicholls takes his first recruiting visit to South Carolina this weekend. According to Nicholls, South Carolina assistant Robert Gillespie has been recruiting him very hard and he is excited to see what this first visit has to offer. "South Carolina has done a very good job of recruiting me and showing me a lot of interest. It should be a good visit". Nicholls also stated that he believes Jabaal Sheard, another Rutgers target will also be taking a visit this weekend to South Carolina.

Then the following weekend (December 8th), Nicholls will travel to Piscataway to visit Rutgers. But before his visit, he expects to meet with Coach Rizzi to take care of some business. "Coach Rizzi has been calling me and talking a lot of smack lately. He tells me he has been working on his game in basketball. That he is going to come down here and beat me in a game. He is crazy. I look forward to taking him to school".

Currently, Nicholls is practicing for the Broward North-South All Star game. He will play with the North squad, which consists of players with Rutgers interest such as Deerfield Beach's David Lewis and Monarch's Anthony Middleton. Miramar's Justin Francis will play for the South team. That game will be played on December 14th.

Nicholls, who was prophetic in his last prediction of Rutgers defeating Louisville, would not give a prediction on this week's contest at West Virginia. "This is a tough one. This could be a great game. I can see this one going either way. My cousin James Thomas, who also played for Ely, is on the West Virginia squad. I just cannot make a prediction on this one".
