As Rutgers resumes practice today with the season opener at Rutgers Stadium against Villanova seven days away, coach Greg Schiano still doesn't know whether he should plan to be with or without eight potential starters who have been sidelined for at least a week with injuries.

PISCATAWAY - The season opener is seven days away and injuries have already depleted the team. But Rutgers took another hit Friday when coach Greg Schiano suspended three players.Senior lineman Howard Blackwood was suspended for one game, sophomore cornerback Eddie Grimes for three, and sophomore defensive end Piana Lukabu for four. Schiano said the punishments were for violations of team policy, but refused to identify what policy.
