In the class of 2008, Marc Lucarini is among the top quarterbacks in the state of New Jersey. As a junior, Lucarini, by way of Camden Catholic (New Jersey), threw for over 1400 yards and 16 touchdowns. These numbers have attracted interest from Iowa, Virginia, Rutgers, Maryland, Wiscinson, and Miami.
This 6'2"-200lbs quarterback loves to throw the ball. This love for throwing the ball has created a preference for an open or run-and-shoot offense. When presented with pressure, Lucarini has the ability to utilize his 4.8 speed to alude defenders. Since he has one of the best running backs in New Jersey (Greg Wannamaker), he did not need to run the ball a lot.
The schools currently showing the most interest in the Garden State product are Rutgers, Virginia, Iowa, and Maryland. However, Lucarini has an open-mind towards his recruitment and states that he has no favorites at this early stage of his recruitment.
He will be taking a number of unofficial visits during the spring and summer and plans on attending numerous college camps to develop a favorites list.
