Plus One for Miami
Miami picked up a verbal from guard Greg Brown from Indian Hills, CC. originally out of Milwaukee for next year. Meanwhile the Canes lost starting guard Marcus Barnes who was dismissed for unspecified reasons. Barnes averaged 12.3 ppg. last year and led the team in three point conversions. This means the Canes will have a new starting back court as Jimmy Salmon graduated. Miami also picked up Gary Hamilton a power forward from Los Angeles by way of Prairie View. He has petitioned the NCAA to be eligible for this year. He averaged 17 points and 15 rebounds per game last year.
