As a junior, he was highly productive. He scored 11 TDs as a WR, 2 TDs as a RB, and 4 TDs as a punt/kick-off returner.

Currently, Dixon holds three scholarship offers from Boston College, Rutgers, and Temple. However, he has attracted the attention of Connecticut, Syracuse, Florida State, and Louisville.

Although it is early, Dixon lists the following favorites Rutgers, Miami, FSU, Louisville, and Florida. From these programs, he lists Rutgers as his favorite and stated "if I had to make a decision today, I would select Rutgers. They are a really good program and have been winning in the last two years. Coach Schiano is attempting to keep many of the New Jersey players to help make a good team". The Scarlet Knights are recruiting Dixon as an athlete. Dixon would prefer to play slot reciever and kick returner but is willing to play where the team needs him.

Dixon has the following to say about the other two teams that have offered him:

Boston College - "great school. I like the offense and how they spread the ball around. It is kind of far but I am interested."

Temple - "the new coaches from UVa have started to build a base"

Regarding a decision, Dixon plans to make his decision after the Nike Combine in the summer.
