4-star QB visits Rutgers

North Carolina QB Braden Hanson (6'6 200)has taken an extensive college tour this summer. Some of the schools he visited include Missouri, Kansas State, Iowa and Colorado. The last leg in that tour was made today, as he visited Rutgers University. The 4-star signal caller had a positive experience on his trip to New Jersey.

"We flew into New Jersey yesterday and stayed at the Hyatt last night. My mom and I got to tour New Brunswick a bit yesterday. Then in the morning, we drove over to the Hale Center and met Coach Schiano. He talked to us about the program and his vision for Rutgers. Afterwards we spent the day with Coach McNulty and met some of the players. We toured the facilities and got to see the campus".

Overall Braden Hanson enjoyed his trip. "We liked it. The trip went well. Everything was very organized. They showed us a highlight tape of last year's season which was very well done and exciting. The campus was beautiful. The facilities are excellent. Academically it is a top school. What Rutgers has been able to do over the last five years is incredible. The program has also made a great impact on the state of New Jersey"

Hansen will most likely head to UNC this Thursday for a one day camp. After that, he will spend the remainder of the summer working out. While he had hoped to make a college decision by the end of the summer, that commitment will only ensue once he feels positive of that choice. "I wanted to make a commitment by summer's end, but I honestly don't know where I want to go yet. I have visited some great places recently and need to let things settle in a bit. If I can make a decision by then it would be great. But if I am not sure, it may take a bit longer".
