Jefferson - RU Next visit, 2 SEC visits done

4-Star QB, D.C Jefferson has completed his visits to two top ranked SEC programs and his next stop is Rutgers. These visits are supposed to help the 6'6"-240lbs signal caller to get a better feel for each school. So did his visits to the two SEC programs change the positioning in his list of favorites?

DC Jefferson took in two day camps last week. “We went to Auburn and then drove up to Tennessee. I went with my coach on those visits. Both were good trips. I got to know the coaches a bit more and check out the atmosphere at the schools”.

According to DC, he had a strong showing. “In terms of performance, I thought I did real well at both places. Coach Borges at Auburn was showing me some stuff. He likes me a lot as a QB. They are graduating some players at QB, so there is certainly an opportunity there. At Tennessee, Coach Cutcliffe is a real good coach. He also complemented me and thought I did real well. Overall, they were both good places to be at”.

Up next for DC is a trip to Rutgers. “I leave for Rutgers next weekend. I look forward to going up there. I have kept in touch with the coaching staff and they are excited to have me come up. It should be fun”.

At this time, DC has no favorites. “I am just taking it all in. I want to find the right fit in terms of coaching staff, players and academics. I am open to everyone. Where ever I go, I am going to ‘ball out’. I just want to find the best place to ‘ball out’ at”.
