Jermaine Dias (DE/OLB,6'2"225lbs) is one of the best players in the New Jersey. He terrifies QBs from either the defensive end or outside linebacker positions. His quickness, speed, and determination has made him one of the most sought after players in the state with over 25 offers.

He plays for Hackensack High School, which is one of the best high school football programs on the East Coast. Currently on the Hackensack team, they have an estimated nine Division IA prospects between the freshmen and senior class. It is one of the main stops for any Division IA program that recruits the area.

He has decided on four schools that he will visit. They are as follows:

Boston College

  • He has a good relationship with his recruiting coach, which been recruiting him since his freshmen year.

What is his fifth visit or school?

Dias says that he is open and is unsure of his fifth visit. Some of the possibilities are Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Miami. He is weighting his options before deciding on a fifth school.

When will he make a decision?

Dias will not make a decision until he takes all of his visits and will probably make a late (February) decision. So far, he has not setup any visits. Currently, he is planning on taking two visits in December and the remaining in January.

How did he do in the first game of the season?

Hackensack defeated Clifton High School, 42-14. He registered 10 tackles (4 for losses), 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.
