"Our coach will have me at CB and play the other team's best wide receiver most of the time but if the team we're playing is a good running team I'll play Safety", stated Cunningham.
The ability to play a number of positions has elevated Cunningham's endurance and skills. He plays better than 95% of a game's snaps, taking time off - rather infrequently - only during special teams. Recruiting-wise, several teams have taken notice of the Garden State prospect's talents.
Cunningham led his EO squad to the quarterfinals of the Greg Schiano Shootout earlier this summer but has not attended any school camps since. However, he has scheduled an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech for roughly 1 month from now: August 14th. Cunningham had very favorable things to state about the ACC program.
"That's the school I really like right now. I text with their coaches and their recruiting coordinator tells me that they need to fill up the CB spots and if I come in I have to be ready to work for a spot."
Cunningham has yet to receive an offer but a 'ship from the Yellow Jackets could make things interesting for the EO standout, who currently lists Ga. Tech as his favorite.
Additionally, Cunningham had nice things to say about his other suitors:
Tulane: I don't know much about them but their coaches are coming after me hard and I'm interested in finding out more about them.
Colorado: I really like Colorado also because the coaches are recruiting me pretty hard and they're always sending me stuff from their school.
"I am very interested in Rutgers. I wouldn't mind staying close to home at all," stated Cunningham.
