Top FL player puts Knights in the lead

Oliver Bozeman, 6-3, 170, QB, 4.5, Dillard HS (Fla.)

Offer Update

The last time I talked to Oliver he had offers from Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Iowa, LSU.  Akron, Purdue and Indiana have added offers since that time.

Current leaders:

Rutgers- "They keep in contact with me about how I am doing on the field and in the classroom and they are concerned about my family."

First games

"I am doing pretty good. I am the leading passer in Broward County. I have over 1600 yards and 17 touchdowns. I also have five rushing touchdowns on the year."

On Rutgers
'I have set up an official visit to Rutgers for next month. I like the way they balance passing attack and running game. They have the focus on both."

The first time I spoke to Oliver he emphasize two things. One was the importance of academics and, two, was his desire to be recruited as a quarterback and not as an athlete. When I asked him about his 4.5 speed, he downplayed it. "I don't want to run as much as I want to get the ball to the receivers. I want to be known as a quarterback and not just as an athlete."
Oliver is being recruited by Mario Cristobal.
