Justin Feagin down to 4 schools & visits

Justin Feagin is among the most productive players in Florida. As a senior, he passed for more than 1,300 yards while rushing for over 1,200 yards. He scored more than 40 touchdowns en route to winning the state championship and likely another first-team All-State nomination.

Feagin has narrowed down his 11 scholarship offers to Miami, West Virginia, Syracuse and Rutgers. With the exception of Miami, he has setup visits with all of his four finalists for January.

His first visit is scheduled for Syracuse. As for the Orangemen, Feagin stated that "they have a good program and are trying to build something. The coaches are nice".

After Syracuse, Rutgers is likely his next visit. Feagin likes "the program that they have put together. I feel like I can go there and help them. They want me to play DB...I really like their coaching staff. They are straight forward people". His recruiting coach was Coach Rizzi, who has taken the head coaching position at Rhode Island. The two had developed a good relationship.

Before Coach Rodriguez left, West Virginia was his leader. As Feagin stated, "I like their style of offense and everything that they have built up. They have built up everything to be a steady program that can compete with anybody". But the loss of Coach Rodriguez has left Feagin in a bind because he does not know what offense and defense the new coach will bring. The lost of the coach places things on hold but he likes the school and the academic program. He still likes the school as a whole but he is still looking to see who the next football coach is.

As WVU looks for another coach, Feagin will do his research on the other program to determine the best fit for him. Therefore, a decision will likely not be made until Signing Day.
