"I just told them that I am high on them," McCalebb said. " Also that I'm looking towards making my decision after my two visits on Jan. 18 and Jan. 25."
The Florida running back will visit Clemson on the 18th and Rutgers on the 25th.
The big topic of the six foot 170 pound runners recruitment was that he de-committed from West Virginia after former coach Rich Rodriguez left after telling McCalebb and his family that he wouldn't. While it disappointed him at the time, Rodriguez seems to be back in his good graces.
"West Virginia was my favorite earlier, and I still got love for Coach Rodriguez," McCalebb said.
"Auburn has treated me good," he said. "I met the Running backs Coach [Eddie Gran] and Coach Knox (Wide Receiver's/Recruiting Coordinator) and they came down here with Coach Tubberville and talked to my people. I went to Clemson over the summer, but didn't meet anybody."
In making his final decision, he's looking for a coach that honest and if he could keep his high school number.
"I want someone that is going to tell me the truth and look me in the eyes and tell me what I'm going to do there," he said. "I also want to be able to keep my high school number, which is three."
McCalebb said he plans on making his final decision shortly after his final
visit to Rutgers.
