Rutgers visitors for the January 25th weekend

During the first visitors' weekend of 2008, Rutgers will host 11 visitors from New Jersey, Florida, Maryland and Connecticut including a few 4-star prospects.

  • T'Sharvan Bell Osceola Senior H.S
    An athletic DB, who has the speed and coverage skills to play CB or S. His 6'1" frame allows his to cover taller WRs. As a junior, Bell registered eight interceptions. He committed to Auburn in mid-December but has continued to take his official visits.

  • Daniel Bryant Chiles HS
    As a junior, Bryant, played opposite national recruit Melvin Ray which limited him to 37 catches for 264 yards and two scores. As a senior, he was highly productive and amassed tripled his junior yardage total. Bryant is committed to South Florida.

  • Justin Feagin American Heritage-dB HS
    Feagin is one of those athletes who can play numerous positions on the collegiate level such as S, WR, or RB in college. In high school, he was a spread option QB who put up great numbers and was named all-state as a junior. Feagin holds approximately 12 offers which are highlighted by school such as Rutgers, LSU, Miami, Syracuse, and Oregon. Lately, Michigan has entered the picture due to his relationship with former the West Virginia staff who is now at Michigan.

  • J.B. Fitzgerald WWP-S HS
    The #4 ranked player in New Jersey and #10 ranked SLB in the nation. Fitzgerald is a smart and athletic LB who has good speed. As a junior, Fitzgerald made 93 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and forced three fumbles. He also caught 16 passes for over 200 yards and two touchdowns as a TE. He is currently committed to Michigan. After the change in the coach staffing the Big 10 school, he decided to visit Rutgers. His respect for the Rutgers head coach and the rise of the program might give the Scarlet Knights a good chance.

  • Khaseem Green Avon Old Farms
    A former Elizabeth standout who is a solid tackler.

  • Brandon Jones Winslow Twp
    As a junior, Jones was injured for most of the year which limited his game action. As a senior, he amassed over 1,000 yards receiving along with 72 tackles and 8 interceptions on defense. Jones selected Rutgers over Iowa, Virginia and Toledo.

  • Zack Kerr Quince Orchard
    A dominant interior defensive lineman who registered over 55 tackles and six sacks as a junior. He has some work to complete academically which has limited him to approximately five scholarship offers including Maryland, Rutgers and Penn State.

  • Pat Kivlehan St. Joseph Regional
    Named first-team All-Bergen county. This hard-tackling safety runs a 4.5 forty.

  • Onterio McCalebb Fort Meade
    A 4-Star prospect, who was the Florida 100-meter and 200-meter state champ and amassed over 1,000 yards rushing. His recruitment has taken numerous twist and turns after his initial commitment to West Virginia. Currently, he is "uncommitted" and he will likely make a decision on LOI day.

  • Rashad White Teaneck
    The first player to commit to Rutgers for the class of 2007. White is blessed with great speed and acceleration, who amassed over 2,000 yards rushing. He selected Rutgers over offers from Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Cincinnati.

  • Marcus Witherspoon Holy Spirit
    A 4-Star prospect who initially committed to Michigan and re-opened his recruitment after the retirement of Lloyd Carr. As a senior, he amassed over 20 sacks and 90 tackles enroute to leading his high school team to a state championship. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that he will make his final decision between Michigan, Tennessee and Rutgers.
