Bilal Morris, 5-7, 140, 4.3, DB, WR, Peddie Prep, NJ

Offer Update

"Lehigh is still my only offer. I am being recruiting by University of Richmond, Delaware, Holy Cross, UMass. I am focusing on Div 1AA schools since I want to be able to play right away. I want to go to a school that can get me a good education for later in life."

"Lehigh and the University of Richmond. The education is big for both schools right now and they both play good football. That is especially true of Lehigh which has an outstanding football program."

On Rutgers

"I still definitely have an interest in Rutgers. They are the one Div 1A school that I am still interested in. I have been talking to Paul Ferraro, their defensive coordinator. The education is top notch and the football program is on the upswing. The atmosphere is 'New Jersey' and I am a Jersey guy. I don't want to go to far from home. I want to stay on the east coast. It would be good to have my family and friends come see me play. Rutgers is the only Div 1A school where Taji and I could got to together at. I haven't missed playing a football game with my brother since I was six years old. It is important to me."

On Peddies early games

"We started off rocky but we have come on. I am playing wide receiver and defensive back. I have 6 or 7 touchdowns and 4 interceptions so far."

Bilal Morris is 5-7, 140 with a blistering 4.3 in the forty. He plays WR and CB. Bilal had 14 catches and averaged almost 16 yards per catch. He was state champ in the long jump and state champ in the 100 meter and the 200 meter in New Jersey Prep A State Championships. Bilal was also All State in football as a defensive back.
