As IU Deliberates, What's Next?

It is no secret that Indiana University's 2008 basketball recruiting class was highlighted by the commitment and eventual signing of Devin Ebanks. In light of recent developments at the storied program, alleged NCAA violations by Head Coach Kelvin Sampson may devastate current and future recruiting efforts in Hoosier-land.

The question for Rutgers fans is what, if any, effect will the currently developing saga at Indiana have on Devin Ebanks. Ebanks, who has already committed and signed a letter of intent to play his collegiate basketball for Coach Sampson, was the prized recruit for the Hoosiers class. Devin Ebanks, by way of St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, CT, and a five-star prospect according to Scout.com, is one of the top overall prospects iin the class of 2008.

Ebanks selected IU over offers from Rutgers and Miami.
