Brazinski remaining open

C Mark Brazinski has D-I offers from RU, and BC. He's been on visits with the Scarlet Knights and Eagles. Come see what he had to say about his visits, his thoughts on the Orange and Terrapins and who he plans on visiting next.

Immaculata center Mark Brazinski has offers from Rutgers, Boston Collegeand has received hand written letters by Maryland and Syracuse. He’s also received offers from Pennsylvania and Bucknell where he has a brother playing at each school.

Brazinski has started going out and visiting schools, making visits to Pennsylvania, Bucknell, Rutgers and Boston College. He’s also had the chance to see the campuses of Miami and Florida through his family. He got to tag along with his brother Paul, who now goes to Bucknell, when he went to Florida’s Junior Day.

The 6-foot-4 285 pound junior talked about his trip to Piscataway and said the coaches keep talking about how they want to bring a championship to the Garden State.

“I was at their Junior Day for about six hours,” Brazinski said. “The coaches made presentations showing the attitude that they have and they know that the program is going on an upward swing. They talk about going in one direction and that’s up.”

He’s also attended a few of the Scarlet Knights’ spring practices.

The Somerville, N.J. native said Boston College has a lot in common with Immaculata and the coaching staff is made up player’s coaches.

“It’s proportional to my high school in size and it’s also catholic,” he said. “They are a very consistent program and the coaches are down to earth and good to the players.”

Brazinski plans on visiting the Eagles again on April 26.

The Orange are a program that‘s interested in Brazinski, but he hasn’t had a chance to make the drive to upstate New York.

“I haven’t seen [the school] yet,” he said. “But on TV, the Carrier Dome looks cool.”

Maryland is looking for the Immaculata center to anchor its line and Brazinski likes how the school is always in the mix for a post-season bowl bid.

“They are always consistent in going to bowl games,” he said. “They’re also sponsored by Under Armour, which is pretty nice.”

Along with the Boston College visit, Brazinski will visit Penn State on March 1.

Right now, Brazinski said he has no favorite schools yet.
